President’s Profile

Dan Stolts, President of Bay State Integrated Technology, Inc. is a highly motivated and dedicated self-starter with over 20 years (1984) experience in the technology industry.

Dan started out long before computers where cool. He got his first computer before most people knew what a computer was. There was no such a thing as a hard drive for floppy disk. Back then the only media was a cassette tape (not like tapes are today, but literally a cassette tape) or punch card. He started off learning how to program in BASIC. Then years later DOS was invented. This was when Dan knew; this was the beginning of something really big and he was happy to be a part of it.

Over the years, Dan has grown as technology has grown. He has become a proven leader of projects and resources with extensive hands-on and management experience in software, networks, technical services and training. He possess many certifications, lots of energy, and excellent people and communication skills. He is an experienced business consultant adept at building teams, communicating and spearheading technical initiatives that result in significant business advantages. He possess a broad range of skills in system design, software development, database management, security, training, maintenance and support.

Dan is an expert with many database and programming tools including Visual Basic, Delphi, Microsoft SQL 6.5/7.0, SQL 2000/2005, Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server/Advanced Server and Microsoft IIS Server. He has education and experience with IT infrastructure technology and enterprise security issues. He has achieved the very prestigious MCSE Certification.

Dan worked as a programmer, network administrator, project manager, business analyst and consultant before finally deciding to start his own company in 1995. He started a consulting company with the focus of helping companies upgrade and maintain existing computer systems. He has expanded that greatly by offering database administration, large project implementation support and management, and custom programming. He also offers high-level support and planning for companies that do not have a dedicated CIO or CTO.
